Founded by the Madsen family in 1978, U-Lock Mini Storage is a portfolio of premium self storage facilities serving the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.

Regarded as pioneers of Canada's self storage industry, the Madsen's founded their first facility in Vancouver's historic Yaletown district in 1978. From there, they went on to be involved in the development and / or operation of over 22 facilities in Western Canada.

Today, the family still owns and operates 6 premium U-Lock self storage facilities in Burnaby, White Rock, Chilliwack, Nanaimo, Victoria, and Parksville. The company continues to expand their portfolio through strategic acquisitions, development, and new product offerings.

U-Lock Mini Storage is a proud partner of the local community, providing support and donations to local charities such as the BC Children's Hospital, Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock, Chilliwack Adopt-A-Road program, Rotary, Annie's Closet, Write to Read, local Christmas bureaus and various transition houses.
